AI QA Engineer

THE ROLE

Everpure is expanding beyond traditional storage to help organizations understand, govern, and activate their data in the AI era. As part of Everpure’s Data Management business, 1touch brings capabilities in data discovery, classification, contextualization, enrichment, and security posture management across SaaS, on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Together, we are building an intelligent data-management platform that helps enterprises turn complex, distributed data into trusted, governed, and AI-ready information. 

Joining this team means contributing to a high-impact transformation at the intersection of data, cloud, security, and artificial intelligence. Working closely with engineering teams, you will develop automated testing solutions, support mission-critical processing services, and help ensure our platform is secure, reliable, and scalable through modern engineering and quality practices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and run quality strategies for the platform's AI-driven features — building evaluation datasets, regression suites, and quality metrics for non-deterministic outputs, and validating accuracy, latency, and cost alongside functional correctness.
• Create and maintain test automation for our data intelligence platform, verifying applications across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing layers.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial design through production.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, including code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Experiment with new technologies, platform ecosystems, and AI-assisted approaches to improve automation, platform capabilities, and engineering efficiency.
• Share testing expertise and quality engineering best practices to support continuous improvement across the team.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience designing, implementing, testing, and operating software applications or platform components.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or another modern programming language, with an interest in learning new technologies.
• Exposure to testing AI or ML-backed features — evaluation harnesses, prompt and model regression testing, or measuring output quality where results aren't deterministic. Direct experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including Kubernetes.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, data structures, algorithms, and modern software engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted QA automation and cloud networking concepts.
• Interest in the quality challenges specific to AI systems: non-determinism, drift, hallucination, and guardrail verification
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
