This fixed-term role supports core accounting and financial planning activities across designated corporate divisions, operational sectors, and revenue or expense centers. You will contribute to accurate financial reporting, monthly and annual close processes, budgeting and forecasting, and compliance with Italian electronic invoicing requirements. Working closely with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional, international collaborators, you will also support internal controls and improvements to finance processes.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations, helping ensure accurate financial reporting.
Participate in the monthly financial close for assigned legal entities, business units, and profit or cost centers, validating accounting assumptions and financial information with the Accounting Manager and business collaborators.
Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, providing financial analysis and insights to inform business planning and decision-making.
Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and business drivers, and prepare accounting, financial, and business reporting packages.
Support monthly invoicing and Italian electronic invoicing compliance, including invoice data validation and XML file generation and submission in accordance with Italian regulations.
Help maintain compliance with accounting policies, finance procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting internal control activities and corrective actions.
Contribute to finance process improvements and special projects while developing knowledge of financial systems, processes, and data structures.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a solid foundation in accounting.
Knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and Italian tax regulations, particularly VAT (IVA) rules and codes, plus experience supporting Italian electronic invoicing and related compliance requirements.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including analytical and reporting capabilities; experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Fluency in Italian and English proficiency at C1 level or above.
Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional and international collaborators across finance and operational teams.
A proactive approach to working with financial data, maintaining accuracy, and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
53,600 EUR - 73,900 EURBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a range of insurance coverage (including medical) and/or other benefits (including retirement plan eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, wellbeing and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided upon an offer of employment.
