Job Description

About the Role

Luma is looking for a Growth Marketer to own the systems and experiences that turn interest into customers, and customers into more engaged, higher-value customers.

You'll own the full conversion journey across our website, landing pages, onboarding, lifecycle marketing, and retention. You'll be responsible for understanding where people get stuck, figuring out what will move them, and building the programs and experiences that make it happen.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You'll work closely with Product, Design, Sales, and Marketing to improve everything from the first website visit to trial conversion, activation, expansion, and re-engagement. You'll combine strong marketing instincts with analytical rigor: understanding the numbers, forming hypotheses, and then turning those hypotheses into better experiences.

We're looking for someone who can zoom out and see the funnel as a system, then zoom in and obsess over the words on a landing page, the timing of an email, or the friction in a signup flow. You’ll have an amazing instinct for what to say and when to say it.

You'll have support to execute campaigns and programs in our marketing tools. Your job is to determine what we should build, who it's for, why it should work, and how we'll know if it did.

What You'll Own

Conversion & Website

  • Own conversion strategy across the Luma website and key acquisition surfaces

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities across the website funnel, from first visit through signup, trial, and purchase

  • Develop and optimize landing pages for campaigns, products, audiences, and use cases

  • Partner with Design and Web to improve messaging, information architecture, CTAs, and conversion paths

  • Develop and run a structured CRO program: establish hypotheses, prioritize tests, analyze results, and continuously improve conversion

  • Use behavioral and funnel data to understand where users drop off and why

  • Analyze conversion across tiers, plans, and customer segments to identify opportunities for growth

Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own lifecycle strategy across the customer journey: nurture, trial conversion, onboarding, activation, engagement, cross-sell, expansion, and re-engagement

  • Design segmented, sequenced programs that move people toward the next meaningful action, rather than simply sending more email

  • Develop lifecycle journeys across email and in-product surfaces in partnership with Product

  • Partner with Sales and Growth to connect lifecycle programs to the actual customer journey and buying process

  • Establish segmentation and behavioral triggers that make lifecycle communication increasingly relevant and personalized

  • Build experiments that increase activation, retention, expansion/upgrades, and customer engagement

Experimentation & Growth

  • Establish a clear growth experimentation roadmap across website, pricing, conversion, and lifecycle

  • Define hypotheses, success metrics, and testing methodology

  • Analyze performance and translate data into actionable insights

  • Build a culture of continuous experimentation rather than one-off optimization

  • Identify the highest-leverage opportunities across the funnel and prioritize accordingly

Systems & Measurement

  • Own the strategy and architecture of our lifecycle and conversion systems

  • Define the funnel and lifecycle metrics that matter, including visitor-to-signup, signup-to-trial, trial-to-paid, activation, engagement, expansion, and re-engagement

  • Build reporting that gives the team a clear view of where growth is coming from and where we're losing it

  • Continuously improve our systems, processes, and measurement as the company scales

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in growth, lifecycle, CRM, conversion, or related marketing roles, ideally with experience spanning both PLG and sales-assisted motions

  • A track record of improving measurable funnel outcomes, not just launching campaigns

  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, segmentation, experimentation, and marketing automation

  • Strong understanding of website conversion and landing pages.

  • Strong analytical instincts, you're comfortable digging into funnel data, identifying patterns, and turning them into hypotheses

  • Strong editorial instincts, you know that better conversion isn't just about buttons and mechanics; it's about getting the message, value proposition, and experience right

  • Excellent writer and communicator who can personally develop messaging when needed

  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with Braze, Hubspot, Sanity, Vercel, Linear

  • Curious about the product and willing to understand how it works, why it matters, and who it's for

  • Highly autonomous and comfortable owning an ambiguous, evolving area

  • Equally comfortable setting strategy and getting into the details
