Job Description

We are looking for a GenAI Agent Engineer — Software Engineering Automation to design,
implement, and deploy AI agents that support software development workflows. Based on use
cases collected by the GenAI Enablement Specialist, you will build GenAI pipelines that interact
with codebases, documentation, requirements, ticket systems, and CI/CD data.

You will collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and platform/tooling teams to
ensure AI agents integrate effectively into daily workflows and deliver reliable and compliant
assistance.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Design and implement AI agents that support coding, documentation, testing, debugging, knowledge retrieval, requirements reasoning, and other developer tasks.
  •  Build AI pipelines that combine LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and software engineering datasets.
  • Integrate GenAI agents with developer tools (IDEs, Git repos, CI/CD, ticketing systems, documentation hubs).
  • Implement RAG pipelines for software knowledge (source code, design docs, API references, test results, requirements).
  • Develop APIs, plugins, and automation scripts for workflow integration.
  • Evaluate agent performance, correctness, reliability, and usability.
  • Document agent architectures, pipeline designs, and integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with platform security and compliance functions to ensure safe deployment

What distinguishes you:

Education:
• MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering

Profile:

  • Strong software engineering background with practical programming experience (Python preferred; other languages welcome)
  • Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, embeddings, vector databases, and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Agents, CrewAI, Swarm, MCP)
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured tech data (source code, markdown docs, JSON tickets, logs)
  • Knowledge of developer workflows (Git, CI/CD, code reviews, tickets, testing)
  • Ability to convert domain or developer requirements into technical AI solutions
  • Collaborative mindset — working with software teams and platform/tool owners

  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with DevOps, IDPs (Internal Developer Platforms), or developer experience (DevEx) initiatives
  • Familiarity with MLOps, AI observability, evaluation, or inference optimization
  • Exposure to regulated or safety-critical SW (automotive, aerospace, medical) is a plus
  • Experience building plugins, APIs, developer tools, or IDE extensions
