Product Manager - Tech, GO-AI Technology & Development Team

Within Amazon Robotics, the Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence (GO-AI) team enables Amazon to accelerate and scale the next generation of AI-powered robotic solutions. We're transforming how complex visual reasoning tasks are performed across Amazon's robotics operations, moving from traditional manual data annotation processes to state-of-the-art foundation model solutions.

As a Product Manager - Tech, you will own and drive GO-AI's product feature strategy and roadmap. You will develop deep expertise in GO-AI's customers and operations to make informed, data-driven product decisions. Leveraging your technical acumen and operational knowledge, you will influence architecture decisions, evaluate technical proposals, and ensure alignment between customer needs and engineering execution. GO-AI's product portfolio spans software applications for annotations and near-real-time remote intervention, business intelligence reporting and insights, and data discoverability platforms. It also includes foundation models designed to automate the annotation process and other high-value workflows. The portfolio is actively expanding to support remote real-time tele-operations—a critical growth area that will require defining new product capabilities from the ground up.

You'll collaborate with world-class scientists, engineers, and operations teams to deploy state-of-the-art research into production systems that deliver real-world impact at global scale.


Key job responsibilities
- Define GO-AI product long-term vision, portfolio roadmap, and priorities through Working Backwards documents
- Perform competitive analysis by establishing continuous customer and market feedback loops; translate insights into actionable product direction
- Drive end-to-end product and feature launches across the GO-AI portfolio, ensuring operational readiness, customer adoption, and alignment to business goals
- Partner with GO-AI engineering and science teams to navigate trade-offs across customer requirements, technical feasibility, and quality standards
- Partner with GO-AI operations teams to balance delivery KPIs, including quality thresholds, with speed and scope
- Define adoption metrics and own the business reporting cadence (weekly/monthly); present progress and recommendations to leadership
- Represent customer needs in architecture and technical design discussions, ensuring product decisions are grounded in real-world operational context

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Can show strong verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years of experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition of software products along with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience building or managing data analytics products
- Experience contributing to science, software, and data engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy
- Experience working with engineering teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Master's in Computer Science or other relevant degree
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle
- Experience with data labeling platforms, human-in-the-loop ML systems, or annotation tooling
- Familiarity with remote tele-operations concepts and solutions
- Familiarity with robotics, fulfilment operations or large-scale annotation/labelling workflows.
- Experience working with applied science teams and foundation model technologies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
