In this role, you will advance global trust by addressing harmful and illegal online content, strengthen protections for vulnerable users, and enable safer interactive AI experiences. In this role, you will provide clear, practical legal counsel to product and engineering teams across Microsoft; anticipate and respond to emerging regulatory trends; support regulatory engagement; and deliver innovative, agile legal solutions at the pace of Microsoft’s business

Legal Counsel IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $147,000 - $258,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $185,900 - $278,900 per year.
