Do you want to build foundational security and messaging capabilities used by Microsoft 365 and Teams? Our team develops IC3 Messaging Store services and owns a data-at-rest encryption SDK. Our work helps keep customer communications secure, reliable, and available at global scale.
As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will design, implement, test, deploy, and operate backend services whose availability, performance, and data protection directly affect customer-facing Teams scenarios. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your expertise in distributed systems, planet-scale cloud services, asynchronous event processing, observability, and resilience engineering while collaborating with teams across services and regions.

Collaborate with engineering, product, security, support, and partner teams to determine user requirements and drive project plans, release plans, and well-scoped work items for secure and reliable Microsoft 365 messaging scenarios.
Drive the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for features and services across IC3 messaging.
Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve service performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment.
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), develop and follow operational playbooks, and participate in the on-call rotation to monitor service health.
Proactively learn and apply technical solutions and patterns that improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, security, performance, and operational consistency at scale.
Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching, and contribute to improving the team's engineering foundation.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Czechia is Kč 1,338,000.00 - Kč 2,448,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
