Job Description

-Amazon Web Services (AWS)'s Analytics Engineering organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech to define and execute the private pricing strategy for AWS's foundational Storage and Analytics services. These services—spanning object storage, block storage, file systems, data streaming, processing and analytics—form the critical data infrastructure layer that underpins virtually every enterprise cloud architecture, and increasingly, the AI and machine learning workloads reshaping them. As generative AI accelerates demand for large-scale data storage, high-throughput processing, and real-time streaming pipelines, these services represent some of AWS's largest and fastest-growing business lines. You will shape the pricing product roadmap and cross-functional execution required to drive service adoption and revenue growth at scale.

-You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, pricing economics, and customer engagement—translating deep technical understanding into pricing constructs that accelerate cloud adoption, simplify complex pricing constructs and cloud migrations.

Key job responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Product Roadmap
-Own and evolve the end-to-end private pricing strategies for AWS Storage and Analytics services, including pricing model design, private deal structuring, and service-level approval frameworks for specialized and custom engagements.
-Define and prioritize the pricing product roadmap, partnering with Engineering teams to build new private pricing features, automation capabilities, and scalable pricing constructs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
-Drive cross-functional alignment across Go-to-Market (GTM), Finance, Strategic Customer Engagement (SCE), -Legal, Service Teams, and Account Teams to evaluate pricing strategies, structure complex deals, and identify growth initiatives. Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, and Business Development to solve intricate pricing and product challenges for AWS's most strategic and large-scale customers.

Technical Depth & Product Expertise
-Develop deep technical fluency across your service portfolio—understanding service architectures, usage patterns, cost drivers, and workload characteristics—to connect product and technical strategies with pricing innovation
-Identify gaps in product capabilities through pricing engagement insights and advocate for product enhancements that unlock growth vectors

Operational Excellence & Intelligent Automation
-Design and build agentic workflows and AI-assisted tooling to continuously optimize, automate, and scale pricing operations, deal analysis, and approval processes
-Champion operational efficiency by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions that reduce cycle times and improve the customer experience

A day in the life
You will manage pricing strategy and influence decisions for all private and custom deals across AWS Storage and Analytics services. This includes owning service-level approvals for private pricing agreements, developing and iterating on pricing constructs and mental models that create mutual value with customers. You will regularly engage with AWS's largest and most strategic customers alongside account teams and SCE, translating complex technical requirements into pricing solutions that accelerate adoption and migration. You will build and leverage agentic AI workflows to scale your analytical capacity and drive faster, more informed pricing decisions across your portfolio.

Basic qualifications

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred qualifications

- 5+ years of management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or a related industry experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
