Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead and own supply chain programs that are ambiguous in scope, cross-organizational in impact, and both strategic and tactical in nature. This role requires defining problem spaces from scratch—where no prior solutions exist—and driving outcomes across a complex stakeholder landscape—including demand forecasting science teams, fulfillment operations, and retail category leadership—with minimal direction.

At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.

Key job responsibilities
• Define and translate complex business requirements into structured project plans; manage implementation activities across a large and diverse group of stakeholders

• Develop and execute rollout plans for supply chain programs and provide ongoing operational support to ensure sustained performance

• Create execution strategy, set priorities, and communicate progress and trade-offs clearly across business partners and senior leadership

• Engage cross-functionally to ensure business vision and operational goals are implemented efficiently and consistently across teams

• Scale supply chain programs in response to business growth and demand changes, maintaining sustained operational quality and performance.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; drive resolution of critical issues; provide escalation management and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives on track

• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and process excellence; identify gaps and redundancies; influence leadership to streamline solutions and define mutually beneficial goals

• Coordinate with teams across regions and geographies to understand local market needs and implement supply chain solutions tailored to the Japan market
