About Faire
Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.
We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.
About this role
We are looking for a Strategy & Analytics Director to own Fulfillment, one of Faire’s most ambitious bets: building the physical and digital infrastructure to reinvent how wholesale works. It includes two connected products: Fulfilled by Faire, which handles inventory, warehousing, and shipping for brands, and Faire Source, the retailer-facing shopping experience that this infrastructure makes possible. Together, they let retailers shop across brands with one shared minimum, free shipping, and more reliable delivery while helping brands save time, lower costs, and grow faster. At its core is a two-sided flywheel: more brands using Fulfilled by Faire improve Faire Source, which drives more retailer demand and makes Fulfilled by Faire more valuable to brands.
This Director will help the Fulfillment team make better decisions, faster, as we scale fulfillment from 1% to 50%+ of Faire's GMV. This person will act as the analytical owner for Fulfillment, and the work will span marketplace dynamics, discovery and personalization, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics, and unit economics.
In this role, you'll bring analytical rigor, strategic intuition, and a bias toward action to one of the most complex and high-stakes problem spaces at Faire, spanning product analytics, brand supply, retailer demand, unit economics, and quality. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and GTM to define what success looks like, uncover what's holding us back, and turn insights into strategy.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives as a high-leverage individual contributor who can also align and coordinate a team across functions, wants to work at the intersection of data and strategy, and is energized by ambiguous 0→1 problems with real business consequences.

Faire operates an online wholesale marketplace connecting independent retailers with brands and manufacturers. Retailers can discover and order inventory across categories such as home, apparel, food, beauty, and stationery, while brands gain access to a distributed network of shops. The platform supports wholesale discovery, ordering, payments, credit terms, returns, and merchandising decisions. Faire uses marketplace data and software to reduce the friction and financial risk traditionally involved in stocking an independent retail business.
