NewAs a System Architect & Product Owner in Low Power Electrical Drives, you will drive the development of current and next-generation automotive electrical drive systems. In this role, you will combine technical leadership and system architecture responsibilities, guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams while shaping innovative solutions for automotive applications.You will contribute to the development and evolution of electrical drive systems with a primary focus on control and drive electronics for HVAC Blower Controllers, Engine Cooling Fans, Coolant Pumps, Fuel Pumps and future low-power drive applications.
Your tasks:
► Acting as System Architect and Product Owner for automotive low-power electrical drive systems
► Leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary engineering team (Software, Hardware and V&V) from a technical perspective
► Defining, prioritizing and tracking system-level activities while ensuring alignment with project goals
► Creating and maintaining system architectures, subsystem definitions and key interfaces across hardware, software and mechanics
► Evaluating technical concepts, selecting optimal solutions and driving architectural decisions
► Coordinating change management activities and supporting structured problem-solving processes
► Collaborating closely with Project Leaders, development teams and customers on technical topics and project execution
► Supporting customer acquisitions, feasibility studies and technical negotiations
► Driving system-level alignment across electrical, software and mechanical domains
► Supporting quality, risk management and continuous improvement activities, including FMEA and related engineering methodologies
► Contributing to platform development, product enhancements and cost optimization initiatives
► Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or a related engineering field
► Several years of experience in automotive systems engineering, preferably in electrical drive systems
► Experience in technical leadership and coordination of engineering teams
► Strong knowledge of power electronics, motor control and automotive communication systems (LIN/CAN)
► Familiarity with automotive standards and development methodologies (e.g. ASPICE, LV124, ISO7637, FMEA)
► Strong system-level thinking, analytical skills and structured working style
► Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
► Customer-oriented mindset and experience working in an international environment
► Fluent English language skills
