AI & Technology Transformation Executive, Financial Services

Drive AI-led business transformation across Switzerland’s leading financial institutions by combining the commercial ownership of an Account Executive, the technical credibility of a Technology Advisor and the strategic perspective of a Transformation Consultant.

The successful candidate will develop and own strategic customer relationships, account plans and growth opportunities while helping customers evolve into frontier organisations through Microsoft’s Cloud, Data and AI platforms.

We are looking for a combination of executive strategist, technology advisor, AI transformation leader and commercial deal maker.

The individual should be equally comfortable discussing Agentic Process Reingeneering with COOs, Data & AI strategy with CIOs and CDOs, and AI-led business transformation with CEOs, CFOs and executive committees.

Customer & Executive Leadership

• Proactively cultivate trusted relationships across customer organisations, from architects and technology leaders through to C-level executives.
• Build deep understanding of each customer’s business strategy, technology landscape, priorities, industry dynamics and transformation agenda.
• Become a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of AI and business executives.
• Lead strategic conversations that connect technology decisions with measurable business outcomes.
• Establish executive relationships that create long-term alignment and position Microsoft as a strategic transformation partner.

Account & Commercial Leadership

• Own the strategic account plan and orchestrate its execution across Microsoft.
• Think strategically about where Microsoft should invest resources, expertise and executive engagement to maximise customer and Microsoft outcomes.
• Identify, create and shape new growth opportunities across Azure, Data, AI, Copilot and related Microsoft platforms.
• Develop compelling value propositions, business cases and transformation roadmaps.
• Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by connecting customer priorities with Microsoft capabilities.
• Lead complex opportunities from early strategic discussions through technical shaping, commercial strategy and execution.
• Maintain a clear view of the external market landscape and develop differentiated strategies to win.

One Microsoft Orchestration

• Lead extended virtual teams spanning Account Technology Strategists, Specialists, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Industry, Engineering and Partners.
• Bring together the right Microsoft and partner capabilities around the customer’s most important transformation priorities.
• Establish clear priorities and ensure teams are focused on the opportunities with the greatest strategic and commercial impact.
• Translate technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes for executives and business decision makers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, AND solid experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, business transformation, enterprise technology strategy, Financial Services, or related roles;
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Proven experience operating at the intersection of technology, consulting, and business transformation AND ability to engage confidently in architecture, business strategy, and commercial discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience driving enterprise-wide digital, cloud, data, or AI transformation initiatives.
• Solid understanding of complex enterprise technology environments and business outcomes enabled through technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within highly regulated industries, particularly:
  • Banking
  • Insurance
  • Wealth Management
  • Financial Services
  • Technology Consulting
  • Management Consulting
• Deep understanding of security, compliance, data governance, sovereignty, risk management, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and executive-level strategic discussions.
• Experience working with top executives and influencing technology and business transformation agendas.

Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 167,100.00 - CHF 277,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
