Assembly Technician Lead, Robotics

Job Description
● We are seeking a detail-oriented,and technically skilled Technician for our robot products. This role is primarily responsible for software flashing, functional self-testing, problem diagnosis, documentation, and rework of non-conforming units. Meanwhile, you’re also needed for our Shanghai office’s inventory and tools management.
What you’ll be doing
● Robot Final Set Up
○ Perform flashing, burning, and installation of operating systems, applications, firmware, and other software onto end-of-line devices, strictly adhering to Standard Work Instruction Document (WI).
● Diagnostics
○ Run Diagnostic SW on robots.
○ Accurately identify software failures, hardware alerts, or performance anomalies during testing.
○ Utilize relevant tools (e.g., log analysis software, serial terminal debug tools) for initial problem analysis and troubleshooting.
○ Clearly and accurately record fault symptoms, error codes, frequency, and other relevant information and submit problem reports.
● Product Rework and Repair
○ Perform rework on units with identified software issues, including re-flashing software, restoring relevant settings, and modifying software configurations.
○ Collaborate with hardware and software teams to assist in diagnosing units.
● Inventory Management
○ Receive and place in-coming parts to Shanghai Office, categorize the goods and keep track of its whereabouts.
○ Keep track of all the tools and equipment assets in the Shanghai Office, categorize and label them, maintain a tracking record.
What you must have
● High school diplomat with technical certificate in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing, repair, or software flashing within an electronics manufacturing environment (e.g., consumer electronics, automotive electronics, telecommunications equipment).
● Ability to recognize basic English technical terms and software log information.
● Strong sense of responsibility and meticulous attention to detail.
● Good logical analysis and problem-solving skills.
● Good communication skills.
