Privacy Engineering Manager II

• Lead the team responsible for developing, shaping, and maintaining our privacy program on behalf of GBO, coordinating across partnerships, sales and support teams globally.
• Partner with teams across GBO to develop privacy safe designs and complete launch reviews to ensure compliance with privacy policies.
• Partner with executive leadership to launch and scale strategic initiatives, providing data-driven insights and executive-ready updates on urgent business-impacting issues.
• Identify opportunities to optimize GBO’s PWG operations by integrating AI/ML tools directly into the review lifecycle.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 7 years of experience working in a privacy related field (e.g., security engineering, data engineering, data scientist, compliance engineering etc.).
  
• 2 years of experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team to drive initiatives and solutions for technological problems with company-wide impact.
  
• 2 years of experience managing resources (e.g. prioritizing work, project planning and execution, etc.) to solve technical and operational problems, customizing existing solutions and frameworks to meet organizational needs.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA, Graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
• Experience with AI/ML privacy, including model privacy, data minimization in training sets, or synthetic data generation.
  
• Ability to resolve high-stakes policy/product conflicts by communicating technical risks to both technical and non-technical executive stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of privacy engineering professionals.
