Looking for an opportunity to have an impact on a growing business at Microsoft?
Interested in working on a product used by millions and generating significant revenue for Microsoft's cloud and its partners?
Join the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace team and help us transform how companies buy and sell software, services, and solutions.
You will lead customer-facing experiences in the Azure Marketplace - the storefront where customers discover, evaluate, and purchase solutions.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role: you will shape frontend architecture, lead complex features end to end, and work in a team where AI is an integral, everyday engineering tool - not an experiment.
Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of complex, customer- facing features end to end - from spec, architecture and technical design through deployment, telemetry, and live-site ownership.
Drive frontend architecture decisions for a large-scale advanced application: component architecture, state management, modularity, performance, and long-term maintainability.
Partner with product management, design, and backend engineering to shape requirements and turn ambiguous problems into shipped experiences.
Use AI tooling as an integral part of your daily engineering workflow.
Diagnose and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks in a large-scale production system, using telemetry and real customer signals.
Raise the engineering bar across the team - testing strategy, code health, reliability, and review quality.
Mentor engineers, and give and receive constructive feedback in code and design reviews.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field AND 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, OR equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience building production web applications with React.js (or a comparable modern framework such as Angular or Vue).
Proven experience leading advanced features end to end, from technical design through production delivery and iteration.
Proven experience using AI tooling as an integral part of the day-to-day development workflow.
Additional Qualifications
Proven grounding in frontend testing strategy - unit, integration, and end-to-end (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
Experience building AI-powered product experiences, not only AI-assisted development.
Experience developing cloud platforms, ideally Azure, using modern cloud architecture patterns.
Demonstrated focus on accessibility, performance, and user experience quality.
Proven ability to build relationships, influence, and create alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Enthusiasm for working in a global, diverse, and inclusive engineering environment.
