About the Role: 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

As Sezzle's Talent Acquisition Associate, you will support recruitment across the organization, with a focus on the Banking, FinTech, and Technology sectors. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead and hiring managers, supporting full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions across technical and non-technical roles.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, this hybrid position is well suited to an early-career recruitment professional who is organized, curious, and eager to build strong sourcing, screening, and candidate experience skills across Latin American and global markets.

What You'll Do:

•  Support full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions across technical and non-technical functions, from intake through offer, under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Lead.
• Execute sourcing plans defined for each engagement, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and internal talent pools.
• Conduct initial candidate evaluations, including resume review and screening calls against agreed role requirements, and present shortlists to the assigned recruiter or hiring manager.
• Coordinate interview logistics, candidate communication, and process milestones throughout the hiring cycle.
• Compile recruiting data for assigned requisitions, including time-to-fill and source effectiveness, and submit it to the Talent Acquisition Lead on a defined cadence.
• Stay current on hiring trends and talent movements within the Banking, FinTech, and Technology ecosystems to strengthen sourcing efforts.
• Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to internal policies, local labor regulations, and best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Represent Sezzle at job fairs, university events, and networking activities to strengthen employer brand visibility and build early-stage talent pipelines.
• Leverage AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, and reporting efficiency, and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment workflows.

What We Look For:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in recruitment, sourcing, in-house or within an agency environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage candidate pipelines and interview logistics across concurrent requisitions.
• Working proficiency with applicant tracking systems and disciplined record-keeping practices.
• Foundational sourcing capabilities, including LinkedIn, job boards, and an aptitude for search methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Based in Bogotá, Colombia, with the ability to work hybrid and collaborate across multiple time zones. 
• Proficiency with AI tools applied to recruitment, or a clear willingness to learn and adopt them. Comfort experimenting with new technology to streamline sourcing, screening, and reporting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications 

• • Experience in an in-house talent acquisition function or at a recruitment agency supporting high-volume or technical hiring.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse or a comparable applicant tracking system, including reporting and pipeline management features.
  • Experience supporting hiring processes across Latin America and North America. Exposure to inclusive hiring practices and structured interview training.
  • Exposure to hiring in Banking, FinTech, or Technology.
