Associate Principal Analyst, Trust and Safety, Shopping

• Ideate and manage high impact projects which increase user safety or improve user experience, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders such as Engineering, Product, Legal, Policy, Sales and other Trust and Safety teams.
• Perform investigative fraud and abuse analysis, producing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for new signals, automation, workflow improvements and operational efficiency gains. Subsequently drive solutions/projects to completion.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
• Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage/holidays.
  This role works with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and upsetting topics or content.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience with machine learning.
• Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
