We are seeking a Benefits Partner to support the administration of our benefits and leave programs. This role requires a blend of hands-on administration and oversight to ensure our programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our company goals. This role is part of the Global Benefits team, reporting to the Manager, Benefits, and is remote-eligible in the US.

You will

  • Oversee the end-to-end administration of all US leave of absence and accommodation programs, including FMLA, ADA interactive process, and state-specific statutory programs
  • Support and coordinate benefit programs, including but not limited to administering health insurance, our 401(k) plan, spending and reimbursement accounts, and life insurance
  • Perform audits of benefits-related data, identifying, escalating, and improving process efficiencies and ensure the accuracy of the HRIS (Workday) and other vendor systems
  • Resolve employee inquiries regarding leaves of absence, benefits enrollments, life events, and general questions while providing a positive customer service experience
  • Support relationships with vendors and brokers, including new and existing service agreements in partnership with internal Procurement and Legal teams
  • Deliver consistent project management support for annual benefit activities such as open enrollment, renewals, and plan audits; as well as cross functional programs 
  • Report on utilization, cost, and other notable trends for various levels of leadership
  • Analyze market trends and compare to our current offerings to ensure we remain competitive
  • Collaborate with payroll, systems, people teams, and outside vendors for accurate data management (HRIS: Workday) and execution
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Perform other duties as necessary to continuously improve the employee experience

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent years of relatable Human Resources experience 
  • 2+ years of comparable benefits experience 
  • Experience using Google for Work, Smartsheet, and Workday preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for excellent organization of audits and overall data management
  • Experience working on confidential programs with access to sensitive information
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentations to different levels of leadership
  • Capacity to be flexible and adapt quickly to shifting priorities as well as experience working cross functionally and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and apply analytical and problem solving skills to deliver excellent results

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.

US Base Salary Pay Range
$83,750—$101,250 USD
