[BGSV/PJ-TE] Senior Edge AI Engineer (ROS 2/Computer Vision/Sensor Fusion)

We are looking for a Specialist to build a new technology capability in Technology & Innovation at Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam, from zero to first real deployments. This role is ideal for someone who wants to own a system end-to-end, work directly with real users, and shape how a small team engineers. You will work hands-on with latest-generation AI hardware platforms, from manipulation to mobile systems.

You will report directly to the Head of Technology & Innovation and work closely with a partner engineering team on cross-functional prototypes and pilots.

 Key Responsibilities

Technical Ownership & Architecture

• Own the architecture of systems combining AI, software and physical devices.
• Make build, buy and reuse decisions, including technical assessments of vendors and platforms.
• Set up the lab, toolchain and simulation environment for the team.

Delivery with Users & Partners

• Turn validated user problems into working pilots and measure whether they are actually used.
• Integrate edge devices with enterprise applications and data (e.g., identity, scheduling, visitor and facility systems).
• Deliver within the security, safety and quality constraints of real environments.

Team & Knowledge Building

• Guide and review the work of other engineers, including part-time contributors from partner teams.
• Define engineering practices and quality gates for the team.
• Capture reusable components, documented know-how and invention reports so each project speeds up the next.

• Have owned a system design end-to-end and made the key technical decisions.
• Have built something real users adopted, and can show the impact (users, pilot results or business outcomes).
• Have made other engineers more effective through reviews, standards or mentoring.
• Have delivered under real-world constraints such as security, safety, compliance or customer quality requirements.
• Strong C++ and/or Python on Linux.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of: ROS 2, computer vision, sensor fusion, real-time control, edge AI deployment.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems via APIs.
• Good communication skills (English + Vietnamese).
• 3+ years of experience, but what you have done matters more than years.

Nice to Have

• Simulation tools (e.g., Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo).
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge platforms.
• Automotive or safety-critical background (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
• Patents, invention reports or published reusable components.
