Job Description

Job Summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivers millions of packages to customers every day across Amazon's Last Mile network. Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) operates a complex, dynamic Surface Transportation (ST) business. Supporting AMZL and ATS, the Global Fleet and Products (GFP) organization manages Fleet technology, capacity, vehicle in-life services programs, vendor management, planning and execution, and establishes vehicle requirements to move goods between Amazon Operations locations and deliver parcels to customers' doorsteps.

EU Fleet Finance is a specialized team of 8 finance professionals partnering with GFP in EU to drive strategic investment decisions and optimize fleet performance across 10 European countries. Finance is providing planning, analysis, and cost controllership for the middle and last mile fleet of tractors, trailers and delivery vehicles. Together with operations leaders and AMZL, ATS and DSP Finance organizations we optimize fleet costs, define vehicle economics, and shape Amazon's delivery model. Our work directly influences strategic decisions on preferred vehicle types, alternative mobility solutions, and partner remuneration models. We are continuously expanding this business partnership to international GFP activities.

The team is seeking a Finance Manager to connect team activities across sourcing, project and program activities, for both middle and last mile, coordinating and consolidating quantitative and qualitative information when it comes to planning and reporting. This role requires an experienced finance professional who will independently assess and handle priorities in an increasingly complex environment, ensuring appropriate stakeholder management.

Given our team's size and scope, you'll engage with numerous stakeholders across GFP operations teams and Finance organizations, providing subject matter expertise to senior leaders. You'll define, track and help to improve metrics measuring vehicle operating costs, cost per package, route economics, and kilometer efficiency. The role combines European-wide perspective with country-level insights, evolving with fleet lifecycle management, new vehicle acquisitions, and innovative sourcing models.

• Stakeholder Management: (1) ensure accurate and concise reporting on vehicle financials, relevant for multiple Finance teams; (2) communicate financial performance expectations and results to L8 operations stakeholders; (3) influence tactical and strategic fleet decisions to meet financial commitments;
• Metrics Development: (1) Develop and track fleet economics metrics including cost per package, route, load and kilometer; (2) analyze vehicle operating costs across 10 European countries
• Process Improvement: (1) Identify automation opportunities, reduce defects, and implement solutions that scale across the European fleet finance function; (2) support establishing WW process standards within WW Fleet Finance.
