Global Product Lead - AI Security Platforms

Job Summary

Provide leadership and oversight of DLP and AI-related operational services, ensuring effective management of DLP triaging activities performed by CDC, maintenance of process documentation, operational governance, reporting, and continuous improvement. The role serves as the primary coordination point between DLP, CDC, AI stakeholders, and key business partners to ensure consistent, efficient, scalable, and auditable operational service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operational service, ensuring a scalable, efficient, and sustainable operating model aligned with business and security objectives.
• Drive operational excellence by standardizing processes, identifying automation opportunities, improving reporting capabilities, and enhancing overall service performance and maturity.
• Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), service levels, and operational metrics to ensure effective governance, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary liaison between the DLP function, Cyber Defence Centre (CDC), AI Factory, Cyber Security teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration, triage, investigations, and escalation management.
• Oversee DLP operational processes delivered by the CDC, ensuring adherence to established procedures, service standards, governance requirements, and resolution targets.
• Support emerging AI security and data protection capabilities by developing operational processes, playbooks, monitoring frameworks, and governance controls to enable effective detection, investigation, and response to AI-related risks and incidents.
• Own the maintenance, review, and continuous improvement of DLP process documentation.
• Attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent in the field of AI security, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
• Create operational plans and reports for business and functions in respect of AI security.
  
• Regularly assess the risk landscape and adapt strategies to address new and existing threats.
  
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to the organization’s data.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, information governance, compliance technology, or related disciplines.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, Data Classification, Insider Risk Management, and related data governance capabilities.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale Data Loss Prevention strategies, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data protection principles, cybersecurity controls, information security best practices, and risk management methodologies.
• Experience with AI Security, including securing AI-enabled solutions, managing associated risks, and supporting responsible AI practices.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering concepts and data lifecycle management.
• Understanding of Machine Learning and Large Language Model (LLM) Operations, including security, governance, and risk considerations for AI-driven technologies.
• Experience with Cloud Security principles and controls across modern cloud platforms, ensuring the protection of data, identities, and business-critical services.
• Strong Incident Response and security investigation experience, including incident response.
• Working knowledge of regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements related to data protection and information security.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex initiatives and influence decisions across technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance security, compliance, innovation, and business objectives.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
