IN_RBIN_Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Mechanical Design - Special Purpose Machines and Assembly Automation

• Study Customer Requirements & develop machine concept and systems requirements as per scope of delivery for special-purpose machines, process machines, assembly and testing machines
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software – Autodesk Inventor. Develop detailed drawings and specifications for components and assemblies
• Analyze and optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance.
• Perform stress analysis and other engineering calculations to ensure design integrity.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation such as BOMs, drawings, and test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and maintain design standards and best practices
• Implement design improvements based on project learning and industry trends. Stay abreast with technological advancements and best practices
• Support and ensure compliance with ISO audits, RB guidelines, central directives, Statutory & Regulatory authorities, machine safety CE norms, UL Standards for export machines.

Skills Required :

• Proficient in 3D model software preferebaly Autodesk Inventor
• FEA analysis using Inventor / Ansys
• Statistical tolerance calculations / GD&T

Additional knowledge / experience :

• Automation technologies applicable for automotive industry
• Understanding of manufacturing process
• Materials and Heat treatment / Surface treatment
• Industry standards, codes and regulations

B.E - Mechanical 

Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in design of special-purpose machines / process machines / assembly and testing machines is a must
