Job Description

We are seeking a tenured Product Owner to define and build the end-to-end client and advisor experience for international clients purchasing insurance, with a primary focus on EMEA. This role owns product strategy and execution, driving clear roadmaps and efficient technology delivery with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI.

Job responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for international (EMEA-focused) insurance client and advisor experiences across digital and assisted channels.
  • Define and deliver capabilities for both licensed and referral operating models, including journeys, handoffs, and controls.
  • Translate regulatory, business, and client needs into prioritized requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and regional stakeholders to ensure compliant, scalable cross-border solutions.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled experiences (e.g., advisor copilots, personalized guidance, intelligent routing, next-best-action), with strong governance and measurement.
  • Lead agile delivery with engineering and design teams; manage backlog, milestones, dependencies, and release readiness.
  • Establish KPIs (conversion, referral completion, cycle time, advisor productivity, NPS, quality/compliance outcomes) and use data to iterate and improve.
  • Identify opportunities to rationalize platforms, reduce manual work, and improve speed-to-market through reusable services and automation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of product management/ownership experience delivering digital client or advisor-facing platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience building regulated customer journeys (financial services, insurance, wealth, or similar).
  • Proven ability to operate across multiple distribution models (direct/agent/licensed and referral/partner handoff).
  • Strong roadmap ownership, prioritization, and stakeholder management across regions and functions.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML productization (use-case framing, model risk considerations, measurement, and iterative improvement).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex topics and drive decisions.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with EMEA insurance distribution, cross-border client onboarding/suitability, and related regulatory considerations.
  • Prior work on advisor tooling (CRM, workflow, case management) and client purchase journeys.
  • Familiarity with API-first architectures, identity/consent, document workflows, and analytics experimentation.
  • EMEA language capability (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic) is a plus.
