Product Owner for Tech Platform and Operations

Join our Core Payments Platform tribe as a Product Owner where you will transform how our engineering squads operate and deliver value. You will shape the future of platform services while helping skilled engineers evolve from reactive operations to strategic enablement. This role offers the opportunity to create meaningful change in one of Denmark's most critical payment infrastructures.

What you will be doing

You will own the product direction for Platform Engineering and Application Operations squads, translating complex technical challenges into clear outcomes that align with our tribe strategy. Working closely with skilled engineers, architects, and stakeholders across the organisation, you will guide transformation from traditional system administration to modern platform engineering practices.

• Shape and prioritise the squad backlog and roadmap aligned with tribe goals
• Transform teams from reactive operations to strategic engineering enablement
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable epics, features, and user stories
• Build relationships and collaborate with senior technical stakeholders
• Guide initiatives end-to-end from concept through delivery and implementation
• Promote operational excellence, automation, and platform maturity

About you

• Experience as a product owner, delivery lead, or transformation lead in technology environments
• Effective experience of delivering change and managing priorities end-to-end
• Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and technical teams

• Strong stakeholder communication, with the ability to influence, build trust, and gain buy-in

• Experience with agile delivery methods and backlog management
• Understanding of IT operations, platform services, or infrastructure environments
• Comfortable challenging assumptions and creating alignment across teams
• Effective decision-making skills and ability to collaborate without formal authority
• Advanced proficiency in English. 

Experience in financial services or payments environments would be valuable, along with exposure to highly regulated industries.

Monthly salary range from 4400 EUR to 6600 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
