Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking a Senior Director of UX Strategy, a senior leadership role responsible for defining, advancing, and governing the end-to-end experience strategy for the Client Experience. This leader will establish a clear experience vision, translate client insight into prioritized strategic initiatives, and lead the teams responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent, and measurable client experiences.

Partnering closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and Business leaders, the Senior Director will ensure that experience investments align with client needs, business priorities, and long-term product strategy. The role requires a strategic, client-centered leader who can balance persona-specific needs with shared platform opportunities while building strong, high-performing UX teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a multi-year UX strategy, experience vision, principles, and roadmap for two client personas.
• Lead and develop the UX teams supporting these personas, creating clarity around priorities, roles, standards, operating practices, and career growth.
• Build a deep understanding of client needs, workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes through research, analytics, client feedback, and market insight.
• Establish a cohesive experience portfolio that identifies where solutions should be tailored by persona and where shared capabilities, patterns, and workflows should be standardized.
• Partner with Product and Technology leaders to translate experience strategy into actionable roadmaps, investment decisions, and delivery plans.
• Advocate for client-centered prioritization, ensuring that strategic decisions are informed by evidence, business value, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish governance for experience quality, usability, accessibility, design consistency, research rigor, and design-system adoption.
• Define and monitor experience measures, including adoption, task completion, satisfaction, usability, and operational efficiency.
• Identify cross-journey dependencies, risks, and opportunities that affect the end-to-end client experience.
• Communicate experience strategy, research findings, priorities, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the UX organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Business, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in UX, product design, experience strategy, product management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leading and developing multidisciplinary UX, research, content, or design teams.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-scale experience strategies across complex products, platforms, or client journeys.
• Strong understanding of UX research, interaction design, information architecture, content strategy, accessibility, analytics, and design systems.
• Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, and Commercial functions.
• Proven ability to connect client experience improvements to measurable business outcomes, including adoption, retention, efficiency, or revenue growth.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, make thoughtful trade-off decisions, and build alignment in a complex environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, fintech, regulated industries, or enterprise software.
• Experience leading UX transformation, operating-model design, or design maturity initiatives.
• Familiarity with agile product delivery, portfolio planning, and outcome-based measurement frameworks.
• Experience establishing or scaling design systems, research operations, or experience governance models.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $190,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
