Senior Product Manager - APAC Expansion

We're opening a brand new product hub in South Korea and looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the launch and expansion of Wise's product not just in South Korea, but in some of our most core, fastest growing Asian markets.

Here's how you'll be contributing:

You'll be a hands-on senior PM leading a cross-functional team of engineers and analysts based in Seoul, collaborating with a wider product, compliance, engineering, and marketing team across Singapore and Japan.

Your day-to-day:

• Own core APAC markets end-to-end — you're the primary product owner for markets where we have conviction or demonstrated product-market fit. You work with a large team to ship feature, products, and amazing experiences to our customers in APAC.

• Design and ship new products. Experiment, improve, expand, and iterate, to drive measurable growth in your markets

• Lead new market entry for critical markets. From positioning and initial product scoping, through licence acquisition, all the way to launch. Work closely with regional marketing, pricing, and operations teams to drive go-to-market strategy

• Use data relentlessly to inform decisions, forecast outcomes, and measure impact (we use Lightdash, Superset and Snowflake, but bring your tool of choice — SQL, Python, Excel, R, whatever gets the job done)

• Collaborate across functions with designers, engineers, analysts, compliance, banking teams, and regional leadership to move fast and ship things that matter

Who we’re looking for:

• A product champion in the making: At least 4+ years in product roles post-graduation. You've shipped products at scale and you know how to operate hands-on and detailed. You show strong signs of strategic, high level thinking and are able to forecast and own first and second order effects of your decisions.

• Entrepreneurial: You don't wait for permission. You scope it, build conviction, and drive it forward. You convince partners, colleagues, and customers to do what's in everyone's best interest across cultures and time zones. Experience in go-to-market execution, at startups, or modern tech or finance companies is a strong plus.

• Strong iterative muscle: You ship products fast, learn fast, and iterate. You're comfortable with ambiguity and know how to turn fuzzy problems into structured plans. You treasure and heed others’ opinions but are able to stick to your vision to work on a product until it truly works.

• Data-driven: You can either run your queries or partner up with your analysts to deep-dive into Wise’s rich data lakes to find the insight that changes the product direction.

• Product sense: You can articulate clearly why a product works (or doesn't). You don’t stop at the first insight, idea or opinion: you dig deep and run high quality research driving your product opinions leading to world-class fintech products that ship on time. Experience in banking, payments, remittances, or adjacent fintech is highly valued.

Nice to have:

• Experience in market launches, licensing, or regulatory work in Asia

• Background in fintech, neobanks, crypto exchanges, super-apps, or API/platform products

• Startup or scale-up founder experience

• Professional fluency in written and spoken Korean (preferred to manage local stakeholders and technical documentation)
