Senior Software Engineer

Build the systems that power Microsoft Azure's growth. Our team develops the platforms and services that govern capacity planning, quota fulfillment, and cloud expansion at global scale, ensuring Azure can meet customer demand reliably and efficiently. You will work across engineering, infrastructure, and business organizations to solve complex challenges at the heart of Microsoft's cloud platform.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and deliver scalable platform services that enable capacity allocation, quota management, and infrastructure fulfillment across Azure. You will lead end-to-end technical solutions, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate across organizations to improve how Microsoft plans and delivers cloud capacity worldwide.

Sydney or Melbourne location avaiable only 

• Design and deliver scalable services for Azure (cloud) capacity planning, Capacity Blueprint, and infrastructure fulfillment.
• Drive architecture, data model, and application programming interface (API) design to enable consistent and scalable platform capabilities.
• Partner across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to solve complex cloud capacity challenges.
• Lead end-to-end feature delivery, from design and implementation to deployment and operational excellence.
• Apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation to improve engineering productivity and decision-making.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software engineering, reliability, and security.
• Influence technical strategy and roadmap decisions to increase platform impact and scalability.
