Sr. Product Manager - Technical, Mainframe Modernization

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants to apply frontier AI to problems that matter, building products that solve real, tangible customer challenges at scale.

Our next Senior Product Manager will help us build new products that reimagine how customers transform their infrastructure, applications, and databases in the cloud with Generative AI. Our mission is to help enterprise customers accelerate their cloud journey, manage applications cost effectively, and transform their technology portfolio on AWS using modern development methods, architectures, and tooling. You will both build new product features and manage an existing portfolio of products.

In this role, you will:

Understand the needs of enterprise, SMB, and startup customers, and see how AWS can help them transform their IT and their business.
Apply analytical, synthesis, structuring, and problem-solving skills to turn ambiguous and often incomplete information into clear product plans.
Bring a bias for "think big," "learn and be curious," and "invent and simplify."
You will succeed as a tenacious, ambitious self-starter with a passion for Generative AI and a strong instinct to advocate for customers. Bring proven analytical ability, persuasive writing skills, and the drive to develop ideas independently, and you will thrive in our fast-paced, highly dynamic startup environment.

Key job responsibilities
As the senior product manager, you will have the opportunity to define and manage the roadmap for your products. You will own the product definition, pricing, and growth initiatives associated with your products. You will work closely with the cross-functional global enterprise teams, including Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, Training, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal. You will be leading and influencing cross functional teams.

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- 7+ years of full product life cycle experience
- 5+ years of P&L management and pricing experience
- 5+ years of creating written docs for development of new products experience
- 5+ years of enterprise security product experience
- 5+ years of product management in the cloud computing technology space experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred qualifications

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
