At QuantHealth, we are changing how the pharmaceutical industry runs clinical trials. Clinical trial failures cost the industry $45B every year. Our in-silico clinical trial simulation platform uses a large pharmaco-clinical foundation model trained on more than 100 million patient records. Global pharmaceutical companies use our platform to simulate thousands of trial variations, predict patient-level responses, improve trial designs, and calculate the Probability of Technical Success (PTS) with 85%+ accuracy.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the Platform Engine: the APIs, SDK, MCP interfaces, security, and data foundations that let pharma teams, their AI agents, and our partners plug QuantHealth into their own systems and workflows.
You will be the product owner for the platform projects that our Engineering team builds. You will talk to internal and external customers, and to our partners, to understand what they need. You will write clear requirements, decide what to build first, and work with engineering every day to deliver it.
This role reports to the VP of Product and works closely with the VP of Engineering, the engineering leads, and our Data Science teams.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable with technical detail, can speak with both engineers and customer IT teams, and likes to turn complex problems into simple, clear plans.

What You Will Work On

• MCP (Model Context Protocol): Own our MCP offering. The goal is frictionless access to QuantHealth’s simulation capabilities — so that partners, and the agentic workflows pharma companies are building, can reach our models directly from the tools their scientists already use. You will decide which capabilities to expose, define how each tool should behave, and shape the workflows around them.
• API and SDK: Define and prioritize our public API and SDK so customers and partners can build on top of our platform.
• Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC): Work with customers to gather requirements and plan deployments of QuantHealth inside the customer’s own cloud environment.
• Security, Privacy, and Standards: Own the enterprise trust layer — authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), SCIM user provisioning, our data privacy work, and CDISC USDM support so trial protocols move in and out of our platform in a standard format.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: Own the roadmap, backlog, and requirements for the platform projects above. Decide what to build first and explain why.
• Requirements: Turn customer, partner, and internal needs into clear product requirements (PRDs). Work with engineering leads on the technical requirements (TRDs) and design choices. Finally, translate the design into discrete, interdependent work items for engineers to implement.
• Customer and Partner Work: Meet with customer IT, security, and data teams, with internal delivery and data science teams, and with partner engineering teams. Understand their systems and limits. Answer technical questions during sales, onboarding, and delivery.
• Delivery: Work every day with engineering leads. Join planning, remove blockers, track progress, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Validation: Check that what we build solves the real problem. Collect feedback from customers and internal teams and adjust the plan.
• AI Tooling: Use AI tools to prototype, write documentation, and move faster.

Required Qualifications

• • Experience: 3-5 years as a Technical Product Manager, or as a Product Manager for a technical product such as APIs, platforms, integrations, developer tools, or infrastructure.
  • Technical Background: You must be comfortable reading API documentation and discussing system design, cloud architecture, and security with engineers.
  • Enterprise Software: Experience with enterprise B2B products is a strong plus, for example security reviews, SSO / SCIM / RBAC, cloud deployments (AWS), or data privacy requirements.
  • Communication: Clear written and spoken English. Able to explain technical topics to non-technical people, and business needs to engineers.
  • Product Thinking: Able to connect your work back to the broader product strategy, and to explain how a technical project serves our customers and the company.
  • Ownership: Able to drive projects from start to finish with little supervision, in a fast-moving startup.
  • Academic Background: Engineering background preferred.
  • Nice to Have: Experience in healthcare, clinical trials, or life sciences. Familiarity with LLM tools and MCP. Basic understanding of statistics.
