Microsoft’s Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) organization seeks an experienced, highly motivated attorney to join the employment legal team as Principal Corporate Counsel.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively driving strategy and execution as lead counsel responsible for responding to and resolving agency investigations and pre-litigation disputes, such as EEOC and similar state agency charges, agency compliance reviews, labor arbitrations, and private claims;
Engaging and directing outside counsel;
Providing innovative, practical legal advice regarding employment-related disputes to clients at all levels;
Building and maintaining professional, trusted, productive relationships throughout the company and with external parties; and
Partnering in the development and expansion of programmatic, cost-effective solutions for delivering legal services at scale.
Required/minimum qualifications

Legal Counsel IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $132,200 - $232,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,800 - $248,600 per year.
