Senior Associate - Digital Product Management

CEG is transforming colleague servicing through digital products, AI-enabled experiences and modern servicing capabilities. We are seeking a Senior Associate, Digital Product Management who brings strong Agile delivery discipline, product ownership experience and curiosity about AI and agentic technologies.

This hands-on role sits across Product, Technology, Operations and UX, turning strategy into executable plans, managing backlogs and dependencies, and helping deliver increasingly complex product capabilities.

Responsibilities

Product Delivery & Agile Execution

• Translate roadmap priorities into clear capabilities, features, user stories and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate Product input into PI Planning, ensuring priorities, capacity, dependencies and delivery objectives are aligned.
• Own and maintain high-quality product backlogs and Jira artefacts, including features, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies and backlog health.
• Partner with Technology throughout delivery, providing product clarity, resolving questions and supporting timely trade-off decisions.
• Lead or contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, testing, release readiness and retrospectives.
• Proactively manage cross-team dependencies, risks and blockers, escalating where appropriate.
   

Product Management & Discovery

• Develop a strong understanding of colleague journeys, servicing processes and operational pain points through data, research and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate business and colleague needs into clear problem statements, product requirements and testable hypotheses.

• Collaborate closely with product managers across the team to align on priorities, dependencies and delivery plans.

• Partner with UX, Technology and business stakeholders to explore, validate and prioritise potential solutions.
• Apply human-centred and journey-based thinking to ensure solutions address meaningful colleague and business needs.
• Define success measures and use product performance, feedback and operational data to evaluate outcomes and inform continuous improvement.
   

Product Operations & Stakeholder Coordination

• Build effective working relationships across Product, Technology, Operations, UX, Risk and other partner teams.
• Coordinate product intake and enhancement requests, identifying themes and informing prioritisation decisions.
• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies and outcomes, providing clear updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support product governance, roadmap reviews and planning activities.
• Help improve product management practices, tools and ways of working across the team.
   

AI, Agents & Innovation

• Partner with AI, Technology and Data teams to identify where GenAI, agentic capabilities, automation and intelligent experiences can improve colleague servicing.
• Contribute to AI-enabled product capabilities, from early experimentation through to production.
• Support proofs of concept, pilots and experiments, translating business problems into use cases and measurable hypotheses.
• Develop an understanding of AI and agent performance, including quality, feedback, adoption and optimisation opportunities.
• Work within relevant enterprise governance, risk and responsible AI frameworks.

What Success Looks Like

Success means turning direction into delivery: maintaining clear backlogs, improving Agile execution, partnering effectively across teams and taking product capabilities from definition through launch. Over time, the successful candidate will build deeper AI product expertise and help identify, test and scale capabilities that improve colleague servicing.

Qualifications

• Experience in Digital Product Management, Product Ownership or a closely related Agile delivery role.

• Proactive self-starter who drives work forward independently, bringing a strong sense of ownership, urgency and follow-through.

• Strong practical experience working with Technology teams to take digital products or capabilities from definition through delivery.
• Experience with Agile planning and delivery, ideally including PI Planning or scaled Agile environments.
• Strong working knowledge of agile tooling, for example Jira/Rally, backlog management, user story definition, acceptance criteria and dependency management.
• Ability to turn complex or ambiguous requirements into structured, actionable product work.

• Experience with CEG, HR or colleague-facing product domains would be advantageous

• Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Technology and business teams in a matrixed environment.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data, feedback and insight to inform product decisions.
• Interest in AI, GenAI and agentic technologies, ideally supported by practical experience, experimentation or personal learning.
