At Autodesk, we do what no other company can: we help our customers design and make anything. As we continue to transform how customers experience Autodesk, we are investing in insight-driven product development, seamless digital experiences, and AI-powered innovation to help people achieve meaningful outcomes faster and smarter. To deliver on that vision, we need exceptional contributors and leaders who are curious, adaptable, customer-focused, and excited to help shape the future of work at Autodesk.
We are seeking a Senior Experience Designer, Agentic Workflows, to join the Applied Intelligence design team in the Experience Foundations organization of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) Division. This is senior individual contributor design role focused on shaping high-quality experiences for Autodesk’s future agentic product experiences, with an emphasis on applying generative AI to our design applications. You will be helping design how users initiate, iterate, and complete their work with AI, contributing to human–AI collaboration patterns that are adaptive, intuitive and contextually focused.
Responsibilities
Design end-to-end flows and interaction patterns that responsibly leverage AI while keeping users in the loop
Visualize and prototype solutions at multiple levels of fidelity, from high‑level wireframes to testable, interactive high‑fidelity prototypes
Rapidly develop and validate experience concepts through internal reviews and direct user feedback
Contribute to reusable design patterns and guidance for agentic and generative UI experiences
Partner with product managers, engineers and other designers to bring concepts from early exploration through delivery
Collaborate across teams to ensure design work remains aligned with adjacent products and platform initiatives
Work closely with user research and product strategy to inform where AI can responsibly improve customer outcomes
Use your visual communication skills to lead design presentations and workshops with a broad range of stakeholders and audiences
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional UX or product design experience with demonstrated impact designing complex digital products
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated ability to translate complex systems, behavioral signals, or business logic into simple and intuitive user experiences for data-intensive software products
Ability to visualize and prototype intended solutions using both traditional and AI tools at various levels of fidelity
Strong portfolio showing hands-on design craft, systems thinking, and high-quality execution across ambiguous product problems
Proven ability to contribute to experience strategy and influence product direction within a product area or workstream
Strong ability to influence without authority, drive shared understanding and align cross-functional partners
Comfort working in environments with evolving AI capabilities, product requirements, and design constraints
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing or working with AI‑supported tools and workflows, and familiarity with emerging AI concepts such as Agents and MCPs
First‑hand experience working with design tools across the AEC project lifecycle
Experience mentoring peers or contributing to team design critique, design quality, and shared standards
The Ideal Candidate
Passionate about designing the future of AI tools that help people solve real‑world problems
Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity with curiosity and empathy
Collaborative, optimistic, and proactive in building shared understanding across teams
A systems thinker who enjoys connecting experiences across products and platforms
