Job Description

Join Amazon's Worldwide Promotions team and drive the transformation of Amazon's global promotions experience and high-velocity events platform. Our team is at the forefront of developing innovative promotional technologies that reach millions of customers every day and drive significant business impact across Amazon. This is an exciting time to join the team, as we're reimagining how customers discover and engage with deals and promotions around the world.

In this high visibility Sr. Product Manager role, you'll envision and launch new promotions features that millions of customers use every day, including working across multiple internal partners and organizations to deliver results for millions of customers worldwide. You'll be a key contributor to making our biggest shopping events like Prime Day and Cyber Monday a success for customers and Amazon by leading our events and deals page.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be an excellent collaborator and communicator that is adept at building effective, productive partnerships; possess strong CX instincts and a passion for delivering great customer experiences; have excellent written communication and strategic thinking skills and executive presence to guide UX and business decisions, often at senior leadership levels; and show a demonstrated ability to earn trust and deliver results with UX and tech teams and a diverse set of partners across Amazon. A previous program management background would be a big plus for this role.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and lead the deliver of the long term vision for the Events and Today's Deals page
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs by partnering with our research team on customer research studies and actively tracking customer service inquiries and customer sentiment
- Listen to and balance the needs of cross-org stakeholders, which you will turn into crisp business requirement documents and up-leveled leadership summaries
- Design and run innovative CX experiments to learn about what drives customer engagement and business outcomes, and drive feature launch decisions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between UX design and engineering to deliver seamless, highly visible promotional experiences
- Own key performance metrics and strategic objectives for promotion adoption and business growth

A day in the life
Because promotions acts an important strategic lever for many of our fastest growing businesses at Amazon, a typical day is anything but typical, and the pace is often very fast. You'll lead research projects to learn more about how to build the most engaging customer experiences, then balance these customer requirements with the needs of the many stakeholders we support within Amazon, to deliver on a big vision for our events shopping page. This work is highly visible with Amazon's senior leadership, so you'll also partner with our UX team on executive UX design and user journey presentations.

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
