Job Description

Rainbow Six Siege is looking for a UX Designer to help shape the player experience of one of the world's leading tactical multiplayer games. In this role, you will design intuitive, engaging, and scalable user experiences that support both new and veteran players throughout their journey. You will work closely with game designers, UI artists, product owners, and developers to create experiences that are accessible, efficient, and aligned with the strategic and competitive nature of Siege.


Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end user journeys for the game areas owned by Barcelona studio.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, information architectures, and interaction models.
  • Collaborate with Game Design, UI Art, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Production teams to deliver high-quality player experiences.
  • Advocate for player needs and usability throughout the development process.
  • Translate complex systems into clear and intuitive interactions.
  • Leverage player research, analytics, usability testing, and community feedback to identify opportunities and inform design decisions.
  • Contribute to and evolve UX guidelines, design systems, and best practices across the Siege ecosystem.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level UX designers, providing feedback and design leadership.
  • Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.

 

  • 6+ years of professional UX design experience, within the gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated experience designing in-game UX, including interaction design, player feedback systems, HUD/UI elements, communication systems, onboarding, tutorials, and gameplay mechanics support.
  • Proven experience designing complex digital products, live-service games, or multiplayer experiences.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design process and measurable impact.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance player needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on AAA games, competitive multiplayer titles, or live-service products.
  • Passion for tactical shooters and deep understanding of Rainbow Six Siege and its player community.
  • Knowledge of player behavior, progression systems, social features, and retention mechanics.
